Alli applies her lifelong interest in quality, responsible food to help clients protect and grow their "good for you" food and beverage brands. She uses her passion and diverse experience to help evaluate opportunities, proactively assess risks, and guide clients as they respond to legal actions. From working the fields on an organic farm to a fellowship at Harvard Law School's Food Law and Policy Clinic, her roots run deep.

Alli's practice centers on advising clients on regulatory compliance and litigation risk (consumer class-action and competitor challenges) related to advertising, food labeling, and food safety, as well as representing advertisers and challengers before the NAD. Her understanding of FDA, USDA, and FTC regulation and guidance helps inform the work she does for a broad array of clients from food and beverage companies to consumer product and consumer health companies. Balancing regulatory requirements and potential for consumer and competitor challenges, she advises these and other clients on topics such as nutrient content and structure/function claims; environmental or "green" claims; geographic origin claims; statements of identity for innovative products (such as plant-based foods and alternative proteins); claims about "functional foods"; use of terms like "organic," "natural," and "plant-based"; and a broad range of other related topics such as Prop 65 and PFAS.

Alli regularly authors articles and speaks at industry events, earning her national recognition for food law and policy thought leadership.
